New album, new tour—Blu Beach Band are taking their indie rock sound across Western Canada with Nick Stone & The Gems.
Blu Beach Band (Regina)
Hailing from Small-town Southeast Saskatchewan, Blu Beach Band is an indie rock group that has made a big splash within the Canadian Music scene in a short amount of time, with a sound they have dubbed “Hyper-Canadian-Indie-Frat-Rock”.
Through a unique blend of Yacht Rock/Indie Pop influences and a scrappy DIY presentation, the band has developed a cult-like following that continues to grow with each release.
Nick Stone (Vancouver)
Nick Stone & The Gems fuse indie rock with subtle folk influences and a soulful undertone. Nick Stone leads on guitar and vocals, supported by John Andrew on guitar and keys, Tanner Reid on guitar, Nate Fromson on bass, and Sam Whitelaw on drums, each adding their own distinctive touch. Inspired by rock and roll, classic folk, and the harmonies of vintage pop, their sound moves effortlessly between bold, guitar-driven tracks and quieter, reflective moments, creating a rich, dynamic listening experience.
