Event Description
The Open Art Studio is a drop-in evening at our downtown Victoria studio for anyone who wants to make art without any pressure to be good at it. No experience needed, no plan required. Some people work from a prompt, some bring their own project, some just want an evening away from their phone with tea and calm music in the background.
It's a small group by design, so there's room to settle in. (Maximum 8 people).
What's included:
- All art materials (painting, drawing, mixed media, and more)
- Optional guided creative prompts
- A warm, relaxed space facilitated by Art Therapist & Counsellor (RCC & CCC), Hanna Verhagen
- Tea and soft music
- No art experience needed
This is a good starting point if you're curious about art for wellness, or just want a quiet, screen-free way to spend a Friday night in Victoria. After booking, you'll receive a short consent form and event reminders via JaneApp.
